Google ने students के लिए AI Plus का student offer शुरू किया है और पहली नजर में यह deal काफी interesting लगती है। जैसे हमने पहले Gemini Spark के फीचर्स और Google Stitch AI का प्रैक्टिकल टेस्ट करके देखा था, वैसे ही इस ऑफर को लेकर भी असली सवाल यही था कि क्या offer सच में ₹0 में मिल रहा है, verification कितनी मुश्किल है और activate होने के बाद features वास्तव में काम करते हैं या नहीं?
इसीलिए मैंने इसे सिर्फ announcement की तरह पढ़ने के बजाय खुद practically test किया। Student offer page से लेकर verification process, document upload और फिर Gemini के अलग-अलग features तक मैंने इसे step-by-step देखा। इस test में कुछ चीजें उम्मीद के मुताबिक मिलीं, जबकि कुछ जगह थोड़ी सावधानी रखना जरूरी है।

Google One के student offer page पर मुझे दो अलग plans दिखाई दिए। इनमें Google AI Plus को 12 महीनों के लिए no-cost student offer के रूप में दिखाया गया, जबकि साथ में Google AI Pro का अलग discounted student option भी था। AI Plus card पर 400 GB storage और Gemini से जुड़े student-focused benefits साफ दिखाई दे रहे थे。

“Get student offer” पर आगे बढ़ने के बाद सीधे plan activate नहीं हुआ। पहले student status verify करने का page आया। यहां country, educational institution, first name, last name, date of birth और email address जैसी जानकारी मांगी गई।
यहां एक बात खास तौर पर ध्यान देने वाली है। अगर आप screenshot लेकर article या social media पर share कर रहे हैं तो अपना email, phone number, student ID या दूसरी निजी जानकारी दिखाई न दे इसका ध्यान रखें।

Verification के बाद enrollment proof भी मांगा जा सकता है
मेरे verification flow में अगला step Upload proof of enrolment था। इस page पर बताया गया कि document में student का पूरा नाम, educational institution का नाम या logo और current enrollment का proof होना चाहिए।
सुझाए गए documents में student ID card with expiry date, educational timetable और tuition receipt जैसे options दिखाई दिए। Document के लिए JPG, JPEG, PNG और PDF formats भी बताए गए।

अब आया असली test: Gemini में क्या-क्या काम करता है?
Offer और verification process देखने के बाद मैंने focus Gemini के practical use पर किया। मेरा मकसद सिर्फ यह देखना नहीं था कि chatbot जवाब देता है या नहीं, बल्कि यह देखना था कि student के लिए research, study और content creation जैसे कामों में इसका इस्तेमाल कितना practical है।
सबसे पहले मैंने एक सामान्य research-style सवाल पूछा। जवाब में Gemini ने structured तरीके से points और sections में information दी। इस तरह के basic use में कोई बड़ा setup नहीं करना पड़ा।
PDF से quiz बनाकर देखा
Student के लिए मुझे सबसे interesting test PDF वाला लगा। मैंने एक सामान्य PDF upload करके Gemini को कहा कि उसमें मौजूद material से 10 important questions बनाए और फिर मेरा quiz ले।
Gemini ने PDF के content को देखकर quiz तैयार किया और interactive question-by-question format में test शुरू किया। Screen पर question के साथ multiple-choice options और आगे बढ़ने के लिए Next button दिखाई दिया।
मेरे हिसाब से यह feature students के लिए सिर्फ “AI से सवाल पूछने” से ज्यादा useful है, क्योंकि यहां वही uploaded material revision के लिए इस्तेमाल हो रहा था। Notes पढ़ने के बाद उसी content से खुद का test लेना exam preparation में काम সুইস आ सकता है।

Interactive visualisation भी test किया
इसके बाद मैंने Gemini से human heart के काम करने को interactive visualisation के साथ समझाने के लिए कहा। Result में heart के chambers, valves, blood flow और pulmonary तथा systemic circulation को एक visual learning format में दिखाया गया।
यहां मुझे सबसे अच्छी बात यह लगी कि explanation केवल लंबे text तक सीमित नहीं रहा। Diagram-based presentation की वजह से topic को जल्दी समझने में मदद मिलती है। Biology जैसे subjects में इस तरह का visual explanation खास तौर पर useful हो सकता है।

Deep Research test में क्या मिला?
Research capability check करने के लिए मैंने India में AI education के अगले पांच साल के प्रभाव पर detailed research report तैयार करने को कहा। Gemini ने report को अलग-अलग sections में organise किया और कई points के साथ source references भी दिखाए।
यहां एक जरूरी बात है: Deep Research या किसी भी AI-generated report को final authority नहीं मानना चाहिए। Report में अच्छे references दिखाई देने के बावजूद important statistics, dates और policy-related claims को original source से cross-check करना जरूरी है।

Image generation भी करके देखा
Content creation के लिए मैंने Gemini को India में AI education पर technology-news style की 16:9 image बनाने का prompt दिया। Result में classroom, students, AI-related displays और technology-focused environment वाला visual तैयार हुआ।
News article के लिए ऐसी image useful हो सकती है, खासकर तब जब किसी topic के लिए तुरंत original visual चाहिए। हालांकि publish करने से पहले generated image में मौजूद text, logos और factual-looking details को ध्यान से देखना जरूरी है। AI-generated image में छोटी visual mistakes आ सकती हैं।

Practical test में क्या अच्छा लगा?
- Student verification साफ था: शुरुआत से ही पता चल गया कि eligibility verify करनी होगी।
- Study use-case मजबूत लगा: PDF से quiz बनाना सीधे पढ़ाई में काम आ सकता है।
- Visual learning useful है: Human heart जैसे topics में visualisation ने explanation को ज्यादा आसान बनाया।
- Research workflow बेहतर है: लंबे research task को sections और sources के साथ organise किया जा सकता है।
